Demodulation Analysis of NMR Signals

The “Weekly Win” for the week of Nov. 21 was awarded to Jake Huneau for rewriting the program which uses a demodulation technique of analysis for the HeXe collaboration. The demodulation technique uses trigonometric identities and a digital lowpass filter to extract frequency and amplitude from the dataset. The benefit of this technique is that it creates a result for each datapoint in the original dataset.

The following plots show the first simulated signal, the extracted frequencies, and the extracted amplitudes found when using the demodulation analysis.
