Motivated by the Andy’s desire to try Spam Musubi, Adam organized the group’s first Group Picnic at Lake Lansing Park North. According to Courtney, the only Real Spam Musubi is one that is cooked in a car. Since we had no care volunteers, there was no RSM. We did have BBQ ribs, steak tacos, cumin lamb kebobs, pulled pork, Bavarian bratwurst, burgers, hot dog, and veggie burgers. There were also several homemade deserts, including an unbelievably moist gluten-free flourless chocolate cake that tasted like cake, and 2π from Sweetie-licious. Activities other than grilling & eatings included Hanabi and Slacklining (see below) – JTS.
